Update Jan 15th 2013

posted 15 Jan 2013, 06:22 by Nigel Mercier

MJS have carried out patch repairs to the left hand side of the pump road.

Under the specification it will be June of this year before full width surfacing can take place.

The current temporary surface contains a high skid resistance chip and temporary surface signs have been erected as a precaution so as to help reduce the risk of drivers speeding on the road until the permanent surface is laid.

The main road in the village is due for permanent surfacing at the end of March this year. MJS are due to finish on site at end of January.

They will have construction debris removed from the village, manholes repaired etc.

They will return in mid March to commence work ahead of permanent surfacing at the end of March.

Exact dates to be confirmed soon.
